The 9th Annual Taste of Tecumseh Festival takes place at Lakewood Park on Friday June 13 & Saturday 14, 2024. This two-day event features delectable tastes and unique talents, all at a beautiful waterfront setting nestled on Lake St. Clair in the Town of Tecumseh, Ontario. Sample culinary delights, taste a variety of distinctive award-winning wines, get hoppy with craft beer, and enjoy live entertainment from talented performers.

Friday June 13th - Kyle Knowler

Time

5:30pm - 8:30pm
Kyle Knowler plays a great mix of acoustic favourites and easy listening, with some country sprinklings and lots of classic rock and “sing-or-tap-your-foot-along” songs. He loves a crowd that’s there for a good time. He plays regular gigs around Windsor and is proud to be involved in such a wonderful, supportive scene through many of the area’s reputable venues.

Friday June 13th - Bigg Wiggle

Bigg Wiggle has built itself a reputation as one of the most consistently popular draws in Essex County. Featuring an eclectic blend of musical styles, including dance, rock, funk, retro, country, classic rock, and groove, Bigg Wiggle keeps the dance floor hoppin’ and the party rockin’! Bigg Wiggle prides itself on its showmanship, its musicianship, and its attention to detail, all in the name of keeping its audience engaged and wanting more! You WILL be entertained!

Saturday June 14th - Mike Hargreaves

Mike Hargreaves is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. With more than a decade of touring experience, Mike has grown up entertaining audiences through multiple genres, projects, and instruments. Currently, his sound is simple and soulful, and compared with artists like Jason Mraz. His latest single, “Smiling,” was released on April 11.

Saturday June 14th - Gnome Chimpsky

8:00pm - 10:00pm
Gnome Chimpsky is an alternative rock band from Windsor, Ontario, Canada formed in 2019. The band’s first album, Something to Hold Onto, was released in 2021, and received favourable reviews from indie music bloggers and airplay on college radio stations such as CJAM 99.1 FM.

In 2024, the band released two new singles: Caged, reminiscent of the indie-reggae sound of their debut album, and Mind Over Matter, which edges on psych-rock.

As part of their sonic evolution, the band added second guitarist in late 2024. Now a quartet, they have a new EP due summer 2025 and are beginning work on their second full-length LP.

Saturday June 14th - DJ Rye

DJ Rye, a leading DJ in Windsor-Essex joins Tecumseh once again bringing his high energy and uplifting vibes from the main stage to the dance floor. An unforgettable experience you can’t miss, Taste of Tecumseh is where it’s at.

Last year the fundraising from the Taste of Tecumseh helped the Optimist Club of St. Clair Beach enhance your community in the following ways:

  • Registrations provided for 44 underprivileged children for Dance, Day Camp, Swimming, Gymnastics and Hockey
  • Hot Chocolate and BBQ provided free to many enjoying the “Christmas in Tecumseh Santa Parade”
  • Hundreds of families enjoyed our free “Family Fun Fair” held in September
  • Many kids participate in our free annual “Fishing Derby” held at Lakewood Park
  • Tecumseh and surrounding area families enjoy the annual “Victoria Day Fireworks”
  • Christmas gifts purchased for more than 100 area children and teens and 40 seniors
  • We are also able to give thousands of dollars to help many local charities and community initiatives
